New releases of low-powered, high performance power supplies is always good news for people who don't see themselves running more than just one graphics card. EVGA will shortly include the 550G2 and 650G2 models in their selection of PSUs.

The new units are based on Super Flower's Leadex Gold platform - the same design used in world-famous EVGA 750 G2, 850G2, and higher powered models. They will feature a semi-fanless mode (toggleable with a switch) and fully modular ribbon cables. The 650W unit will come with four PCI-e connectors, so SLI or Crossfire fans will have an option do connect more than one card.

New T2 and P2 units

New 80+ Platinum and 80+ Titanium units will also appear, but a little later - 850P2, 1000T2 and 1200T2 models will appear somewhere in August-September. Like other models from their series, they will feature fully modular cables and semi fanless mode, and they will be built upon the corresponding variants of Leadex-series platforms.
